Taking a break after completing secondary school, Heather went to Sydney for a couple of years and loved working with people in hospitality,
retail and journalism. Although the living was easy, she decided to get back into serious study and returned to Melbourne
to undertake the four-year Naturopathy course at the prestigious Southern School of Natural Therapies.
After graduating with a Diploma of Applied Science in Natural Therapies,
she also completed Diplomas of Relaxation and Therapeutic Massage at the Geelong School of Therapeutic Massage.
Heather then began practising at Rye Chiropractic Clinic and Main Ridge Natural Therapies,
later moving to Richmond to practise at Miho Health & Herbs, Victoria Avenue Natural Healing and Albert Park Health Foods.
Heather then left for overseas, returning after six months to the pristine environment of the Mornington Peninsula and to further study - Touch for Health and Kinesiology,
Alpha Dynamic Meditation, Emotional Freedom Technique and Li'tya Day Spa Training.
The next few years saw Heather work largely at the rustic Mizu Spa, predecessor of Peninsula Hot Springs, and at Rye Health Foods.
After a rewarding year with the Kindilan Society in Red Hill, a facility for disabled adults,
both physical and intellectual, Heather saw the need for a Mobile Massage Service for visitors to the Peninsula
and residents who prefer treatments at home.
Now Heather and her professional team of therapists provide delicious, rejuvenating Massage and Day Spa Treatments 'wherever you are,
whenever you want' to those who enjoy being pampered at home, either on their own, with their partner, or with a group of friends!
As Heather says, "There is nothing better than not driving home after a massage, is there?" |
