Skipper & Sailing School Instructor KEVIN
Kevin started sailing as part of New Zealand America's Cup Challenge in 1986-1987. Later in Sweden he sailed 24 hour races on 20, 30 and 40 footers, crewing in the six metre class yachts and taking part in one delivery from Denmark to Stockholm on the 6 metre trimaran Dragonfly and another from Stockholm to Helsinki on the 100 foot sloop, 'Big T'.
In 2007 he obtained his Coxswains ticket and has been enthusiastically skippering for Baysail Cruises ever since.

Skipper & Sailing School Instructor PHIL
Phil started sailing at 10, mostly catamarans, acheiving Club Champion, Westernport Champion and Australian Champion status. He crewed on Little America's Cup C-Class Catamarans and has worked on committees of yachting associations and clubs. He delivered yachts from Sydney to Melbourne, Lakes Entrance to Melbourne and Melbourne to Hobart and crewed on the HMB Endeavour replica sailing from Sydney to Melbourne for the Commonwealth Games. He holds certificates in Race Management, GIBS, TL3 Boat Handling, RYA Coastal Skipper-Yachtmaster and Coxswain with Sailing Endorsement. Phil has a real passion for sailing and loves to share his knowledge with others. |

Skipper & Sailing School Instructor MICHAEL
Mike has been a skipper with Baysail Cruises since 2003. He has a great knowledge of sailing, the natural environment and the Bay. Many guests comment on his great personality, and he is always willing to give them a turn at the helm and show them the ropes. Anyone who sails with Mike always have a really fun day. |

Skipper & Sailing School Instructor KERRY
Kerry first visited the Mornington Peninsula at the age of 10. In his twenties, he took a house at Mc Crae every year from November to April and had a catamaran at the yacht club.
He bought his first keelboat in the late seventies and joined Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron and the Royal Brighton Yacht Club. In 1995 he moved to the Peninsula and in March 2002 bought a new Bavaria 32 and started Sail Sorrento. In 2007 he added a 28 foot couta boat and a Seawind 1050 to the fleet and intends to deploy other yachts at Williamstown, Geelong, Westernport and Lakes Entrance. |

First Mate PHIL
Co-owner and enthusiastic first mate of Dolphin II, Phil grew up sailing the waters off Blairgowrie in a variety of skiff’s and dinghies during his school holidays. Now a permanent resident of Rye, Phil obtained his crewing certification under Kerry’s tuition, and is working toward his Coxswain qualification under Kevin’s guidance. “

First Mate & Stewardess CLARE
When Clare is not on board, she is one of the professional therapists from the Baliana Spa team, pampering clients in the privacy and comfort of their dwelling with delicious massage and spa treatments.
Clare is in Year 2 of her Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy and topped the class this year with high distinctions across the board.
Clare intends to obtain her own Coxswain qualification in the near future |

Office Manager LOUISE
Louise looks after your enquiries to make sure that your experience is fantastic and memorable. She has 16 years experience in customer service and has always lived on the Mornington Peninsula, so she can tell you great places to visit, things to do and things to see, places to dine with great service and atmosphere, as she loves getting out and about. . She recently married Jamie on the beach in Mount Eliza and lives in Tootgarook. |

Deck Hand and Stewardess HEATHER
As well has her responsibilities on board, Heather designs the menus and manages the catering for all three yachts, for both private and public cruises. However her principal responsibility is managing her Baliana Spa Mobile Massage and Day Spa service |
